With the summer tourism coming to an end, Puerto Penasco has meet there expectationsby welcoming 35,500 visitors to the Rocky Point Mexico area! The summer months brang life back to the local community and the economy. There was an increase of 8-10% of tourists who chose to vacation in Rocky Point.
The occupation rate for hotels/condo’s was about 48% during Sundays to Thurdsdays. Fridays & Saturday’s rate averaged 70-75%.
Despite the economic crises this was an increase by 10% compared to last year.
