THE BORDER Crossing to Rocky Point Mexico (Puerto Peñasco)

Border Crossing:
The Border is open from  6:00 a.m..to Midnight.  The Mexican consulate states that Rocky Point is considered a "Free Zone".  No Visa, Passport or automobile title is required to enter. It is the law to have Mexican auto insurance though.

Getting Back is a different Story:  As of June 1, 2009 Passports, Visas, Passport Cards are now needed.
