The 5th Annual Shrimp Festival was a HUGE success in Puerto Penasco. There was much worry that with the storms all week the festival would have been "rained out". That did not happen. The day was beautiful with lots that turned out!
They had music, dancers, samples of food, drinks, plus adding a Bloody Mary contest. The winner of the contest went to Casa del Capitan! The food samples were great with many to choose from. There were shrimp dishes, shrimp pizzas and pastas, to pastries and cakes, to drinks. So much to sample.
Next year we hope to make it even better! Hope to see you there!!! |
